1. WHAT IS THE INSPIRATION FOR NEU COLLECTION?
This well-crafted stoneware from a Danish brand Ferm Living inspired by Bauhaus classics, using strictly geometric shapes and made with honest materials by the vivid reactive grey glaze not only softens the stoneware which also gives a unique touch for the ceramics. Neu is a reflection of our daily life and things that lead us to embrace the small & sincere moments in the everyday. 
2. HOW THE PRODUCTION TAKE PLACE?
- Starting with the stoneware blend, which consists of the raw material, clay, and water in proportion, the experienced pottery maker will inject into molds to gets the perfect shapes.
- After modifying the clay bodies are taken out from the molds and fired at about 800 degrees for four hours to make sure that the bodies are dry enough.
- Hereafter, the reactive glaze is dipped on each and fired at about 1200 degrees for nine hours by hand by a colleague with special technical glazing skills to ensure a complete coating.

After glazing, the item needs a second firing for up to 12 hours to ensure the ceramic has the right shape and longevity. Finally, every single product is carefully inspected.
3. WHAT IS THE UNIQUENESS OF NEU STONEWARE
The raw materials used for Ferm LIVINGs ceramics carefully sourced and quality checked for the utmost quality and built to last a lifetime. Neu stoneware using ceramic glaze fused to the ceramic through the firing process, the surface coating making the ceramic impermeable and waterproof, so it will not leak out through the open clay pores. In addition to their functionality, glazes can form a variety of surface finishes, including degrees of the glossy or matte finish and color.
Moments like reading a book in a favorite chair, staring at a vivid shadow, enjoying a dinner with family and friends or having a good cup of coffee.
